  8. The Logitech Series 9 Mouse is compatible with Microsoft Windows
  9. version 3.00. However, adjustments must be made to the scaling speed
  10. after installing Windows on a Toshiba T-1600. If these adjustments
  11. are not made, you may experience exaggerated movement off the screen
  12. with minimal movement of the mouse.

  17. A generally successful solution is to set the mouse-scaling speed to
  18. the minimum in the Control Panel, as follows:
  19.  
  20. 1. From the Program Manager, choose the Main group.
  21.  
  22. 2. Choose Control Panel, then Mouse.
  23.  
  24. 3. Drag the scaling speed bar to the far left (minimum).
  25.  
  26. This will stabilize the mouse arrow display, reduce the speed, and
  27. eliminate the loss of the arrow off the screen.
